STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION

                    The Staff Selection Commission declares the vacancies for Stenographer Grade 'C' Examination 2014. SSC strives to have a workforce which reflects gender balance and woman candidates are encouraged to apply. Before applying, Candidates are suggested to go through the detailed instructions contained in this notice carefully. 

                           Commission will hold a Combined All India Open Examination for recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Grade 'C' and Grade 'D' for which 12th standard Pass from a recognized board / university is the minimum qualification. The Examination will comprise of Written Objective type Examination followed by Skill Test in Stenographer at 100 w.p.m. and 80 w.p.m for Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' respectively.

Fee : Rupees One hundred only (100/-) payable through CRF stamps for Off Line application or SBI challan or On Line payment through SBI in the case of On Line Application.

Closing Date : The closing date of submission of application form is 27 June 2014.

02. Stenographer Grade 'D' : 496 posts

Age Limit : 18 to 27 years as on 01-08-2014. Age relaxation as per government rules.

Educational Qualification : candidates should have the qualification of 12th Standard.

(iii) 26 years for Statistical Investigators Gr. II

Educational Qualification : Graduation in Any discipline from Any recognized University (ii) Graduate in Statistics / Mathematics / Economics / Commerce Subjects for the post of Statistical Investigators Gr. II

Fee : Rs. 100 for Unreserved Candidates. No Fees for SC/ST/PH/Woman and Ex.Serviceman
