OTPCL is a power transmission company undertaking by Government of Odisha.OTPCL declared a notification for recruiting energetic ITI (Electrician) qualified applicants to appoint them as JMOT.

OTPCL has invited the online application form from ITI (Electrician) qualified candidates for 200 JMOT posts from dated 14-09-2021. All the ITI qualified candidate can apply online for this post on or before the last date of application. The details of the vacancy position is given below.
Details of Recruitment for 2021
OTPCL has declared total 200 posts for JMOT recruitment 2021. The category wise vacancy for abov posts is given with reservation below:

JMOT Career Development
- First all selected candidates will be appointed as Junior Maintenance & Operator Trainee (JMOT) for period of 1 year.
- After successful completion of Training period candidates will be appointed as Junior Technician on Contractual for 5 years.
- After successful completion of 5 years they may be appointed to the post of Junior Technician (Level: NE-3) on regular basis.
- The Pay matrix for Technician (Level NE-3) will be 22700/- to 72000/- with basic pay of Rs. 22700/-
Renumeration / Salary
All the appointed candidates will be paid fix renumeration for 6th years of service. The structure of fix renumeration is given below

Essential Qualification
All candidates who wants to apply for JMOT should be HSC from recognized board and ITI Certificate in Electrician Trade from NCVT with minimum 60% marks for General Category/SEBC and 50% marks for SC/ST/PWD.
JMTO Age Criteria
- Minimum age required for this post is : 18 years.
- The Maximum age must not be above 32 years as on 01-09-2021.
- The Candidates should not be born later than 01-09-2003 and not earlier than 01-09-1989.
- Relaxation as per govt. norms to SC/ST/SEBC/PWD/Ex-Serviceman & Women.

- Enter your Mobile number and verify it with OTP sent on Mobile.
- Input your email id and verify it with OTP sent on Email.
- Click Submit and Continue button
- Upload your required documents.
- Complete your online application.
Document Required for JMOT Recruitment 2021
- Recent Color passport size phot & signature.
- Caste Certificate ( SC/ST/SEBC)
- Physically Handicapped Certificate if applicable.
- Sports Certificate, is applicabel.
- Ex-Serviceman Discharge Certificate, if applicable.
- Experience Certificate.
- 10th pass Certificate.
- Marksheet 10th.
- ITI pass Certificate
- Marksheet ITI Final.
- Linemand MV Permit or Undertaking to Submit the workman permit at hte time of document verification.
- Size of Document to be uploaded shall be 100 KB to 200KB in pdf format.
Selection Procedure and Examination Pattern
Selection will be made through below tests
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Skill Test ( Climbing of Towers, Structures and other Electrical Operation & Maintenance related activity) (Skill test will be of qualifying nature.
- Qualified candidates in skill test will be called for document verification and career marking)
- Marit list will be made on the basis of CBT and Career Marking ( Weightage 80% CBT and 20% Career marking).
- Final appointment of selected candidates will be subject to Medical Fitness.
