             Applications are invited in the prescribed form from bonafide citizens of India for selection of candidates for recruitment to the post of Sub - Inspector of Police ( Men and Women ) Un-Armed and Armed Branch), Group - C Non - Gazetted under the Home Department, Govt. of Tripura in the Scale of Pay 5310-24000 /- ( PB-2) with grade pay of Rs. 2400/-

Vacancies - All Permanent : 
01. S.I. ( UB ) (MEN) : 45 Posts
02. S.I. ( UB ) (Women ) : 30 posts
03. S.I. ( AB ) Men : 07 posts

Essential Educational Qualification : At least Graduate in any discipline ( for Men and Women )

Physical Measurement :
Men : 
Height : 168.00 cms, Relaxable upto 163.00 cms for ST candidates,

Chest : 79.00 CMS ( Un expanded ) and 84.00 Cms ( expandad ) for those with height of 168.00 Cms and
above 76.00 Cms ( Un expanded ) and 81.00  Cms.  ( Expanded ) for those with lesser hieght.

Weight : Body weight shall be determined according to the Body Mass index ( BMI ) between 18.5 and 29.5

Women : 
Height : 152.00 Cms,

Chest : Not Applicable

Weight : According to Men Weight

Age : ( For Men and Women ) : Minimum 21 years and maximum 27 years as on 01-01-2014. Upper Age Limit is relaxable by 5 ( five ) years in case of ST/ST candidates. In case of Ex- Serviceman, the age is relaxable as per Memo No. F. 14 ( 19 ) - P / 84 dated 09-04-1985 issued by the Political Department, Govt. of Tripura.

Last Date of Receiving Application : 31-05-2014 The Application received after the closing date will not be entertained.

Rate of Recruitment Fees : Group - A Posts : Rs. 200/- for General Candidates and Rs. 150/-  Only for ST/SC / BPL card holders / physically Handicapped candidates.

Group - B Posts : Rs. 150/-  only for general Candidates and Rs. 100 only for ST/SC/BPL card holders / physically Handicapped Candidates.

Group - C : Rs. 100/- only for General Candidates and Rs. 50 only for ST/SC/BPL card Holders / Physically Handicapped Candidates.
