Recruitment for Geo-Scientist and Geologist by Union Public Service Commission 2017

UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION

                                     A competitive examination for recruitment to the post mentioned in para 2 below will be held by the Union Public Service Commission commencing from the 24th May, 2014 in accordance with the rules published by the Ministry of Mines in the Gazette of India dated the 1st March, 2014 at the various examination centres. Candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination. Their admission at all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.

1. Geologist Group - A : 100 posts
2. Geophysicist Group -A : 80 posts
3. Chemist Group - A : 80 posts
4. Jr. Hydrogeologists Group - A : 05 posts

How to Apply : Candidates are required to apply online by using the website www.upsconline.nic.in. Brief instructions for filling up the online Application Form have been given in Appendix - II. Last Date of Submission of Application : The Online Applications can be filled upto 31st March 2014 till 11.59 PM, after which the link will be disabled.

Age Limits : A candidates for this examination must have attained the are criteria of 21-32 years on 01 August 2014. 

Fee : Candidates are required to pay a fees of Rs. 200/-. Excepting Female/SC/ST/PH who are exempted from payment of Fees. 

Minimum Educational Qualification : Master's Degree in Related Subjects and fields.
