                     The Indian Institute of Science was established in 1909 and is a premier autonomous institute for education and research in science and engineering, funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development ( MHRD ), Government of India. Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Registrar, Technical Officer, Administrative Assistant and Many more. The guidelines, procedures and timelines outlined below :

1. Assistant Registrar : 06 posts Qualification : A post graduate degree with at least 55% marks.

Age : Below 45 years, Pay Band and Grade Pay : PB - 3 ( 15600-39100 ) Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/- plus allowances.

2. Technical Officer : 07 posts, Qualification : PhD in Science or Engineering, or post graduate in the relevant field in Engineering with minimum 55% marks. Age : Below 35 years, Pay Band and Grade Pay : PB-3 (15600-39100 ) and Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/- plus allowances.

3. Administrative Assistant : 10 posts, Qualification : Bachelor's Degree with minimum 50% marks with knowledge of Computer Application, Age : Below 26 years, Pay Band and Grade Pay : PB-1 ( 5200-20200 ) Grade Pay : 2000/-

4. Security Supervisor : 2 posts, Qualification : Bachelor's Degree with minimum 50% marks Age : below 40 years, Pay Band and Grade Pay : PB-2 ( 9300-34800 ) and Grade Pay : 4200/-

5. Junior Technical Assistant : 07 posts, Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field with minimum 55% marks, Age : below 36 years, Pay Band and Grade Pay : PB-1 ( 5200-20200 ) and Grade Pay : 2400/-
