Tilka
Manjhi Bhagalpur University is a public university located in Bhagalpur, Bihar.
It was established on 12 July 1960.
The name was changed from Bhagalpur
University to Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University in 1991 in commemoration of
Tilka Manjhi, a freedom fighter.
The
university campus is spread over 264 acres of land. T. M. Bhagalpur University
offers different study programs through its various departments. Most
departments offer post graduate and doctoral degrees.
Among them are faculties
of Science, Social Sciences, Humanities, Commerce, Management Studies, and Law.
T. M. Bhagalpur University has many affiliated colleges for providing education
